How Much it Cost To Maintain a Website

You will find any website maintenance plans for the price you want. The problem comes mostly with whether or not they are professional enough to really maintain your web presence. When it comes down to custom websites it’s definitely going to be harder to find expertise but it is not impossible. Keep in mind that most hosting providers do nor include website backup in their service plan. All Entergraph customers will get free website backups with any of our hosting plans.

What to look for in Website Maintenance package:

  • Personalized support – Communication between customer and company. Make sure you get good response time.
  • Reports – Weekly or monthly reports about progress and things done. Regular social media updates.
  • Website Edits and Updates as required.
  • Premium Plugin access – Saves a whole lot of time and money. Make sure you know how much you pay for each plugin.
  • Backups – Daily, weekly or monthly. Monthly is usually enough with retaining at least 2 backups.
  • e-Commerce  and shopping cart management – Normally basic packages don’t give this but it’s worth to mention here
  • SSL certificates. A must to have for every site if you are serious about security and Google listing
  • Uptime monitoring – Normally automated. Keep in Mind that even 99% uptime is impossible to achieve
  • Security scans and malware removal. Plugin Updates at least twice a month.
  • Fixing broken links

Small to Medium business website – A good price range to expect in this category is from $100 to $150 per month.
